Deer Season

Eric got the first deer of the season on Oct. 28. Clara helped him track it.  She wasn't fond of the dark and only wants to track deer in the daytime from now on.

11 Months Old and a New Cousin!

 Spencer was 11 months old on November 1. His first cousin was also born, John Reid Jesaitis.  He was a little guy at 3 lbs 14 oz, but he is doing great. We can't wait to meet him at Christmas!

Halloween

Clara wanted to be a ballerina and she wanted Spencer to be a bat, it was an easy Halloween. Spencer wouldn't take a nap that evening, so he was asleep for the first half of trick-or-treating and Clara fell asleep before we made it to all of our stops.

St. Louis

 We had lunch at the park. . .

 We visited the St. Louis Zoo with good friends. . .

 We played with Owen. . .

And I ran a half marathon on Sunday, October 21.  I ran it in 1:53. I had fun and the weather was perfect.

Fall Fun!

It took Spencer a while to figure out the leaves and enjoy them.

Six teeth!

10 months old

Spencer was 10 months old on October 1.  In the last two weeks he has gone from eating baby food to eating all the table food in sight.  He has had lasagna, chicken noodle soup, pizza, oatmeal, yogurt, eggs, toast, and pancakes, crackers, bananas, cheese. . .He loves all of it!

Northwest Football Game

With a 66-6 win, Clara didn't quite get the game day excitement of a Bearcat game, but she loved the band and cheerleaders.

Soccer

Clara stopped three goals yesterday when she was playing goalie.  At first I thought she would be better when she could run up and down the field, but she is a little timid getting in the group of kids to get the ball.  She did great as goalie and never played in the net instead of watching the game!

9 Months Old

A little late posting since Spencer will be 10 months old tomorrow.

Clara's First Soccer Game

Clara loved running around on the field. It took her a while before she tried to get the ball, she just liked running around with the pack following the ball. She got a little bored being goalie, she liked to run up and down the field.

Toothy Grin

 As of today, Spencer has 4 teeth that have popped through, two top and two bottom.

 Spencer puts up with a lot from Clara, and for the most part he loves it.

I had to take a picture of Spencer in these pajamas because he won't be wearing them long.  I bought them this summer when visiting aunt Jenny in CO.  They were 9-12 month pjs so I figured they would work for this fall.  The first time I put him in them at 8 1/2 months old, he is stretching them at every seam!

Clara's First Day of Preschool

Clara was excited about going to school until 10 p.m. the night before.  We put her in bed by 9:15 p.m. and at 10 she came into our room and said she didn't want to go to school the next day.  She cried the first day I dropped her off, but 15 minutes later she was smiling and waving at me and she has never looked back.  She loves going to school!

Army Crawling

Spencer has been army crawling since he was about 8 1/2 months old.  He can get to where he wants to go.
