New Words

Clara has been learning so many new words I haven't been able to update enough to list all of them, but this weekend has been crazy. In the last 48 hours Clara has learned to say Daniel, apple, elbow, and happy. She is getting pretty good at saying Vince, by the next time we see him she will have it down!

Sledding!

We hadn't tried sledding with CJ yet because she did not like snow until about two weeks ago. Anytime she would get snow on her shoes she would stop in her tracks and whine until someone picked her up out of the snow. She then brushed the snow off her shoes so they were clean. Now, she loves the snow! She'll walk through snow up to her knees and never wants to come inside after playing in the snow. Uncle Daniel came home this weekend and he wanted to take CJ sledding, she loved it too! When we came inside Clara had a cup of tea to warm up. :-)

Rock On!

CJ has really gotten the hang of playing her guitar. We think she might be the next Taylor Swift.

We are on day 2 1/2 of snow days. Eric and I both got out early on Friday and haven't been to school since. Luckily I have been motivated to do some painting and sewing. Now I need to clean up from all of my projects!

After a long weekend. . .

Eric sat down to watch the Pro Bowl and CJ made it about 5 minutes before falling asleep. It might take her a few days to catch up from her busy weekend!

Running the Halls

Before CJ and Grace went to bed we made sure they were worn out and would sleep good. :-) I bet they ran over a half mile up and down the hallway that evening. And no, we have no idea how CJ didn't run into the glass window. We're sure glad she didn't, that would have ruined her evening!

Fun Weekend in the City

This weekend we went to KC with uncle Greg, aunt Lisa, great-grandpa Hoyt, Jason, Alli, and Grace. The girls had a fun time playing at Fun Run and swimming in the pool at the hotel. Clara was so wound up on Saturday she didn't take a nap. We went straight from playing and going down slides to swimming and she did great! Thanks everyone for a great weekend!

2010 Happenings

Clara's hair is finally long enough to put in a ponytail. Sometimes she will leave them in for an hour or two. Better than the 15 seconds when I first started putting her hair in a ponytail.
