Camping

Since the weather hasn't been too hot lately we decided to go camping on our farm. Clara enjoyed roasting marshmallows and eating black raspberries that are abundant right now. We had a perfect evening until we were getting ready for bed and Clara ran into the tailgate on Eric's truck. She has a bruise on her eyelid and her cheek and we think she bit through her lip. It was bleeding and really swollen. As you can see from the picture above, about 3 minutes later she was excited to sleep in the tent.

Summer is Coming!

We took our first Jeep ride last night. We are definitely ready for summer. Clara wants it to be warm enough to get ice cream when we go on a Jeep ride!

New Moves

Mary, Clara and I were listening to the Red Hot Chili Peppers while cooking and eating dinner tonight. Clara must have gotten caught up in the moment and decided to bust a move.

Happy Easter

Clara was so excited for Daniel to get here. She kept asking when he was going to get here so she could jump on the bed with him. We are excited we will get to see him more often since he is moving to Columbia and will be closer to us!

BFF

We were lucky to have Susan and Holden visit this weekend. Clara and Holden picked up where they left off last summer. Susan and I were able to catch up while the kids played all day.
