Happy 4th Birthday Clara!

Thank you aunt Janet for my cute card!
Thank you to Pinterest for this idea.  Clara like this as much as her gifts!
A dress from Grandma Spencer to wear in California!
A water castle for BG and Mimi's pool. Yes, she has already been in the pool to use it, me on the other hand will be at least two more weeks of warm weather to even think about getting in the pool.
A purple sleeping bag to go camping.
Per Clara's request, a chocolate cake with strawberries.  Again, from Pinterest.
It was good, but I wasn't too impressed.

Spencer Reed

I think the one in the top left corner is my favorite, or maybe the one in top right. :)

5 months old (a little late)

5 months old.  A lot has changed in 5 months.  As you can see, Spencer hasn't slowed down growing since we've come home from the hospital.

In case you can't tell by this photo, Spencer's eyes are starting to turn brown.
I didn't think I could keep two blue eyed kids.  He'll be a heartbreaker, no matter what color his eyes are. :)

Reading

Clara loves for us to read to her, and now she loves to read to Spencer.  She almost has this book memorized and as you can see, Spencer loves to pay attention to Clara and all she does.

First T-Ball Game

Eric caught Clara paying attention during the game, which was not always the case.
Look at her eyes on the ball!
Lauren and Clara, attached at the hip.
"That's where we put our hands together and say TEAM!"

I missed Clara's first t-ball game because my students were playing in a sectional game at school and I knew it could be their last game.  They did lose, but played a good game and didn't give up.
Congrats on a great season Mustangs!

Feed Me!

Spencer has been drinking 5 oz bottles regularly and an occasional 7-8 oz bottle.  He has started waking up again in the middle of the night, so we decided to try a little rice cereal Friday night.  He kept lunging for the spoon and got mad if I didn't feed him the next bite fast enough.  He slept through the night again, so maybe it helped keep his little belly fuller through the night.

I think the kids look a lot alike in this photo.  Spencer is definitely outgrowing Clara's lap.
