I've been trying to upload these pictures for several days, but my computer has been acting up. Clara is in love with the Christmas tree, as you can see she wanted to see if it tasted good, like everything else, it goes in her mouth! The bath pictures are after a very messy diaper, actually messy diaper, sleeper, back side, changing table---it was everywhere! She has also learned to stick out her tongue, as you can see, she loves doing it!

Here is my picture, Clara and Uncle Daniel. This was taken at my best friends house on Labor Day weekend. There is a balloon derby right across the road, so every year we get together with a lot of friends and family and we eat, drink, and laugh a lot. Sometimes we chase balloons, but this year we decided to just chill with Clara. Balloon chasing can get a little crazy and you have to run around in fields to help the balloons pack up when they are done flying.

6 month check-up

Clara had her six month checkup yesterday. She weighed 16 lbs 4 oz and was 25 1/4 in long. When she was born she was 7 lbs 6 oz and 19 1/2 in long-she is growing like a weed! Clara was a trooper getting 4 shots! We went ahead and had her flu shot while she was getting poked and prodded. She cried when they jabbed in the shots, but was smiling at the nurse by the time she left the room.

We are travelling to St. Louis this weekend with Lindsay and Dustin to visit Lesley and Drew. I hope Clara is up for the car ride! She is a good traveller when we go to Brookfield, but this will be a lot longer trip! We are planning on visiting the arch and having a St. Louis Day--bring on the front carry pack. I haven't used it in a while, Clara probably only weighed about 14 lbs the last time we went on a long walk.

6 Months

Baby CJ is learning new things every day. Look at her eat all by herself!

Clara's First Laughs!
