A former co-worker told me that a kid could learn anything that is on their place mat. CJ has learned her colors in just a couple of weeks because we talk about her place mat every evening at dinner. I'm searching the Internet for more place mats!

Yes! The legacy lives on! I still swear by it. In fact, we created math place mats for our desks at school. We have had good luck at Wal-Mart in their placemat section. I also ask all the aunts and uncles to keep their eyes out and they typically will find something for us. We are currently covering the solar system and bugs :)
That made my day! She is so beautiful and that was just the best thing I've ever seen!
